The annual Community Art Gala was held this year on March 1st  from 4pm-9pm at the YWCA of Binghamton/Broome County, 80 Hawley St. Binghamton and will celebrate "Nature, A Child's Canvas".

This year’s community Art Exhibit theme for 2013 was “Nature: A Child’s Canvas” Any 2 or 3 dimensional work that relates to both childhood and the theme of “Early Years are Learning Years” was acceptable.

Call Out to Artists

BAEYC invited artists to participate in this celebration of infancy and childhood. The exhibit serves to bring awareness to and cultivate appreciation for early childhood issues.

We are leading up to April, the nationally recognized Month of the Young Child by the National
Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) with an art exhibit displayed throughout the month of March. The Binghamton-AEYC encourages our community to help spread awareness of
issues in early childhood by participating in our fifth annual art exhibition.
